Gluch, Daniel Albert (28 December 1879 - 27 March 1952)

Daniel Albert Gluch, age 72, of Route 3, Granton, died at his home last Thursday afternoon, following an illness of two years. His body reposed at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton until time of services on Monday when it was taken to the American Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the parish cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Domke officiating.

Mr. Gluch was born on December 28, 1879, in the Town of Grant. He received his education in the schools there and was a lifelong resident of Clark County. He resided on the farm in the Town of Grant for the past 47 years.

He was married on September 6, 1904, to Olgiene Wegner at Neillsville. He is survived by his wife and two children, Ronald Gluch and Mrs. Arnold (Leona) Sternitzky, both of the Town of Grant; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Amelia) Schlinsog of the Town of York, Mrs. Christina Garbisch of the Town of Grant and Mrs. Archie (Ida) Howard of Marshfield; two brothers, Herman of the Town of Lynn and John of the Town of Grant. One daughter, Evelyn, died in 1920 and he was also preceded in death by two brothers.

Pallbearers were Edward Garbisch, Ervin Garbisch, Merton Howard, Oscar Gluch, Raymond Gluch and Leonard Gluch.

Floral offerings were in charge of Mrs. Leonard Gluch, Mrs. Merton Howard, Mrs. Oscar Gluch and Mrs. Ervin Garbisch.
