Meske, Agnes (Marriage - 20 February 1952)

Miss Agnes Meske, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Meske of Thorp, and Frank Trybula, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Trybula of Thorp, were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, February 20, at a nuptial high mass read at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp, by Rev. Arnold M. Mucherheide.

The bride entered the church with her father, who gave her in marriage. She was attired in a white satin gown fashioned with a fitted bodice and full skirt with long train. Her long lace sleeves, yoke, and peplum of the gown were trimmed with rhinestones. The three-quarter length veil was edged with wide lace, and held by a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white lilies.

The bride’s sister, Miss Dolores Meske of Milwaukee, was maid of honor. She was dressed in an aqua net over satin dress; and Miss Betty Jo Meske, another sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, wore a similar dress of pink. Both wore headdresses to match their dresses. Their colonial bouquets consisted of pink carnations and yellow jonquils.

The groom and the best man, Anton Plechacek, friend of the groom, wore black tuxedos and white carnation boutonnieres.

Both mothers of bride and groom wore navy blue dresses with white carnation corsages.

Immediately after the ceremony a reception was held at the P. N. A. Hall for relatives and friends. A dinner and supper (balance of article was cut off).
