Talberg, Eunice (Marriage - 6 May 1950)

Miss Eunice Talberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Talberg, of Foley, became the bride of Charles Cathcart, son of Charles Cathcart, Sr., of Beloit, at a lovely candle light wedding in the Presbyterian church at Foley Saturday, May 6. The Rev. E. C. King performed the 7:30 double ring ceremony.

Preceding the ceremony, Miss Mary Hoglund sang, "Because," and "I Love You Truly."

The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her brother, Morris Talberg, was dressed in a white satin gown with a long train and a net beaded yoke. The veil was of finger tip length. She carried a bouquet of white sweet peas and forget-me-nots.

Miss Dorothy Talberg, a sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor, and wore a pale blue taffeta dress with over-net. Her bouquet consisted of pink sweet peas.

The flower girl, Jewel Perry, wore a white satin dress with a short white veil, and carried a basket of mixed sweet peas and rose buds.

The groom was attended by his brother, Lyle Cathcart.

William Talberg, ring bearer, carried the rings in a large rose which was tied to a box of white ribbon and lilies of the valley.

Serving as ushers were Kermit Talberg and William Bennett.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, for over 100 guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lueth, Sr., grandparents of the groom, and Lyle Cathcart, Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lueth, Jr., and Mrs. Fielder Lueth, Curtiss, were out of town guests at the ceremony and reception.

Mr. and Mrs. Cathcart are making their home in Minneapolis where both are employed.
