Hopfensperger, Julia Ann (Marriage - 23 Aug. 1950)

The marriage ceremony which united Miss Julia Ann Hopfensperger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hopfensperger, and Lawrence E. Watson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eanor Warson, Abbotsford, Abbotsford, Route 1, took place in the parsonage of St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester, Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 10 o’clock, with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating.

The bride was attired in a street length frock of dark aqua, with navy accessories. A corsage of pink and white carnations accented her dress.

Attending as her maid of honor was her sister, Miss Elaine Hopfensperger, of Appleton. With her aqua dress she wore wine accessories and a corsage of pink, white and yellow carnations.

William Hopfensperger, uncle of the bride, was best man.

Dinner for the immediate families and grand parents was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Watson left on a wedding trip to northern Michigan and on their return will be at home on the farm of the groom’s parents.

Until recently the bride was employed at Doyles studio at Medford.
