Dahl, Alma (1 August 1895 - 5 January 1952)

Mrs. George Dahl, age 56, died at her home in Loyal on Saturday at one o’clock after an illness of 17 years duration.

The body lay in state at the Myre Funeral Home until time of service on Wednesday, when it was taken to the Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. A. Aalto officiated at the services. Interment was made in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Dahl, nee Alma Dux, was born August 1, 1895, in the Town of Pine Valley. She received her education in the rural schools of Clark County. On November 8, 1916, she was married to George Dahl in Neillsville. They lived in the Loyal vicinity for four years where Mr. Dahl was engaged in making cheese. They then purchased the John Dahl farm in the Town of York, where they resided for 28 years. Three years ago they disposed of their farm and moved to Loyal.

Mrs. Dahl is survived by her husband; two children, Harold of Loyal, and Mrs. Earl (Doris) Williams of Milwaukee; two grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters, Frank Dux of Loyal, Mrs. Richard Hagedorn of Neillsville, Mrs. Emma Hoffman of San Fernando, Calif., Ben Dux of the Town of Grant, Albert Dux on the home farm, Neillsville, Herman Dux of Neillsville, and Robert Dux of Lanchester, Calif.

Pallbearers were: Louis, Everett, Melvin, Verlan and Ervin (article was cut off)
