Wilhelme, Gustave E. (26 June 1881 - 13 Apr. 1948)

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon for Gustave E. Wilhelme, who died Tuesday morning, at 2:00 o’clock at the Presbyterian church, with the Rev. G. E. Griffiths officiating. Burial will be made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

The body is lying in state at the Zink Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilhelme was born June 26, 1881 in Waukesha, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gustave Wilhelme. When he was two years old the family moved to Clark County and lived on the farm now occupied by Medo-Farms Dairy. Here he lived until his marriage to Hazel Phaneuf, at Abbotsford, June 26, 1907.

From this time he worked on the section and was retired last June 26.

He had been ill for the past month and died of a cerebral hemorrhage at his home, Tuesday morning, at 7:55.

He is survived by Mrs. Wilhelme, a brother, Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Peter Wilbert, all of Abbotsford, Wis. His brother, Henry, died on March 5, of this year.

He leaves two nieces: Mrs. Otto Stock, Loyal, and Mrs. Arthur Edblom, town of Colby, and two nephews, Fred Wilhelmi, of Greenwood, and Herbert Wilhelmi, of Abbotsford, Wis.
