Robert S. Pozarski, 69, Cadott passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at home with his family at his side. The funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m., at Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott. The Rev. Frank Corrali officiated. Interment was in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, town of Edson.

Robert S. Pozarski was born on April 29, 1940, to Stanley and Mayme (nee Shakal) Pozarski, his wonderful parents. On Sept.3, 1960, he married Cleo Phelps at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Boyd. They had many joy-filled years together with their four children. He was employed by Valley Roofing, Don Sperber Decorating (Bob and Don were known as the best), and Hagen Decorating. He was known as the sunbeam mix master at UW- Eau Claire, where he was employed as a painter. The biggest lifetime jobs were the projects his wife and he enjoyed. He loved the last years of picnics on Sand Rock with extended family including brother, Bill, and his family. He enjoyed helping his children with many projects, woodworking and painting.

Survivors include his wife, Cleo; his children, Roberta (Dean) Pabich, Scott (Theresa) Pozarski, Jodi (Greg) Boos and Todd Pozarski; his grandchildren; Leane (Scott) Pabich-Schiller, Blake (Jessica Lueck) Pozarski, McKenzie and Bridget Pozarski, and Brandi and Gerad Boos; his brother, Bill (Mary Ann) Pozarski; sister, Ruth Kappus; and John and Chris Adolphi, who saw the family through the toughest of times and some of the best.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Mayme, in 1965, and Stanley, in 1983; a brother, Jack, in 1996; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Julia and Edgar Phelps; and stepmother, Grandma Hazel Pozarski.

Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, assisted the family with arrangements.
