Burzynski, Ruth (2 MAY 1953)

 

Miss Ruth Burzynski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Burzynski of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Marion Cwiklinski, son of Mrs. Mary Cwiklinski of Chicago, in a ceremony performed by Father Jerry at St. Fideles Church at Chicago on May 2nd, 1953.

 

The bride was given in marriage by her brother George Jr. of Thorp. Malin Konieczny of Chicago served as best man and Miss Irene Burzynski, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Theresa Soborowicz and Lillian Burzynski of Chicago, who were dressed in lace and net strapless over taffeta with lace boleros of Nile green and carried cascade bouquets of yellow roses with headband of yellow roses.

 

The maid of honor was dressed in a gown of lavender identical to that of the bridesmaids, and the flower girl, Bernadine Tomasewski, wore a dress of yellow tulle over taffeta with bonnet and carried a basket of yellow roses.

 

Henry Burzynski of Thorp, brother of the bride, ws usher, and the junior couple was Daniel LaSota of Chicago and Katherine Burzynski of Thorp, who wore a dress identical to that of the maid of honor.

 

The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of lace and tulle over satin with scalloped neckline and lace edged fingertip veil with coronation crown. She carried a bouquet of orchids with stephanotis streamers. While the soloist sang "My Rosary" she carried a bouquet of camellia lilies to the Blessed Virgin’s altar.

 

About thirty-five guests attended the wedding breakfast which was given at the home of the groom’s sister at 1516 N. Washtenaw Ave., Chicago. In the evening a reception was held at Viking Hall, 2741 W. North Ave.

 

The bride’s mother was attired in a dress of teal blue with a red rose corsage and the groom’s mother in a rose colored gown with a corsage of red roses.

 

After a wedding trip through Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin the happy couple will be at home to their friends at 1516 N. Washtenaw, Chicago.

 

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Burzynski Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Burzynski, Mrs. Joe Burzynski and daughter, Mrs. Geo. Burzynski Sr., Henry Burzynski and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lato of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. bill Chambers, Miss Marion Borowitz, Mrs. Anton Borowitz of Green Bay, Mrs. H. Bruskiewitz and family and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schmidt and family of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
