Bohman, Margaret (6 OCT 1878 - 7 APR 1953)

Mrs. John Bohman, 74, a resident of the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Parmentier, at Green Bay, Wis., at 4:30 a.m. Apr. 7, 1953. The body was brought to Stanley and will lie in state at the Plombon Funeral Homer there until the time of the funeral services at 9:30 a.m., Friday, April 10, at St. Ann’s Church, Stanley, Father Edmund Kramer officiating.

Margaret Burns was born in Outagamie County, Wis. on Oct. 6, 1878. She grew to womanhood there and taught in the rural schools of Wisconsin for thirteen years, and in the Town of Worden where she met her future husband.

She was united in marriage to John Bohman at Kaukauna, Wis., on Aug. 30, 1909 where they resided until the death of Mr. Bohman in Nov. 1943. Since that time Mrs. Bohman spent some of her time in Green Bay.

She leaves to mourn, two sons, Wilfred at home and Leonard of Dorchester, Wis.; three daughters, Kathleen, Mrs. Robert Parmentier, Green Bay, Geraldine, Mrs. Dennis Shifflet and Marion of Los Angeles, Calif., one sister, Mrs. M. L. Hynes, Tampa, Fla., five brothers, John and Edward Burns of Portland, Ore., Arthur of Thorwold, Ont., Canada, Mathew of Albany, N.Y. and William of Owen, and five grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Stanley.
