Wink, Joseph (2 MAY 1878 - 16 OCT 1952)

Joseph Wink, 74, a resident of this community (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) for many years, passed away at Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis., on Thursday, Oct. 16, 1952 of cancer. He had been living in that city for several years.

The deceased was born in Kiel, Wis., on May 2, 1878 and came to Thorp with his parents in 1888.

He is survived by one brother, Albert of Thorp; three sisters, Mrs. Justina Jacques, Thorp, Mrs. Elizabeth Peters, Kimberly, Wis., and Mrs. Anna Mullenbach of Thorp.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Church at 9:30 o’clock Monday morning, Oct. 20th, Rev. A. M. Muckerheide officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were George Haas, John Abramczuk, Stanley Kosik, Leo Fisher, Frank Schmidt and Joe Benzschawel.
