Lewis Streidl 1908 - 1979 was a member of the Streidl family. Lewis was born on December 18, 1908, in Germany. He renounced his country of birth and became a United States citizen, being naturalized in Chicago, Illinois, 1937.  During November of 1952, he purchased a home from Ernest H. Snyder and his wife, Jessie, in Sec. 10, Hewett Twp., Clark Co., Wisconsin.  It was located just south of highway 10, across road from Snyder's Dam.  Lewis died on September 1979 at the age of seventy-one.

Lewis Streidl's last known residence was Europe.
