Miholovich, Frank, Sr. (21 October 1890 - 7 June 1971)

Frank Miholovich, Sr., 80, died June 7 in Neillsville where he was a hospital patient only three days. Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Hill Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. and from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Matthew G. Malnar of independence officiated, assisted by the Rev. Leander Koopman, pastor of St. Mary’s, Greenwood. A rosary service was held Wednesday night at the funeral home. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Frank Miholovich, Sr., was born in Yugoslavia on October 21, 1890. He came to the United States and was married to Mary Stimac in Bryant, Ill. The family came to Greenwood and lived there for a short time. In 1943, they settled on a farm near Willard where he lived until his death.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Frank, Jr., and a daughter, Frances, both of Wisconsin Rapids.

Pallbearers were: Matthew Malnar, Emil Malnar, Louis Matkovich, Robert Herrick, Charles Herrick and Gerald Glasshof.

People from out-of-town attending the funeral included Mr. and Mrs. Frank Miholovich and Miss Frances Miholovich, all of Wisconsin Rapids.
