Don't forget the Community Picinic Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 11th at the Withee picnic grounds in Hemlock. Bring something for lunch, also lemon and sugar please.

Mr. and Mrs. Boland and children of Chicago are visiting at the Geo. Rude home.

Mrs. Welsh attended the Homecoming service at the Norwegian church Sunday with the Flikke family.

Helen Windom and a sister of Laura Limprecht spent Sunday afternoon with Julia Tomac.

Otto Windom spent Sunday afternoon with Joe Tomac.

The Hays family and the Darlings went blueberry picking Monday.

Mrs. Hays' brother and nephew are visiting at the Hays' home.

Joe Schwarz and Elmer Rossman went blueberry picking Monday.

Rev. Thompson will preach at the school on Wednesday evening, Aug. 4th. Let's have a good crowd.

Rob Smith and Ed Finkle are out taking school census.

Richard Marek had the misfortune to lose a horse last week.

Bro. Crandall of Black River Falls called at the Welsh home Tuesday.

Mr. Welsh mowed weeds for Jack Stoller last week.

The work on the Popple River bridge is going along nicely.

Einfeldts had company Sunday.

Mrs. Palmer Vinger and daughter and Mrs. Victor Vinger spent one afternoon last week at the Welsh home.

Sunday school every Sunday at the schoolhouse unless storming, at 10:00 o'clock.

Fritz Limprecht is the proud owner of a new Ford truck.

Mr. Mason and son are making hay on the Kepke place.
