Her bouquet was made of American beauty roses.

The bridesmaids were Miss Winnifred Martens, of Wausau, in blue taffeta, and Miss Verna Deane Fristad, of Curtiss, in pink net. They all wore wreaths of flowers in their hair and carried bouquets similar to the bride‘s.

Attending the groom was Henry Voigtlander, Jr., brother of the bride. The ushers were Henry Syring, brother of the groom, and Vilas Thede, of Curitss.

During the ceremony, Elmer and Eldor Humke sang "The Lord Is My Shepherd," and Mrs. Charles Jakel sang, "Savior Lead Me Lest I Stray."

A wedding supper for 120 guests was served at the parish hall by a group of the charter members of the V.F.W. auxiliary. The guests then spent the evening at the Voigtlander home.

On Friday evening a wedding dance was held at Walter’s Pavilion, Colby, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Syring left on a wedding trip to the Michigan peninsulas and through the straits. They will be at home about Oct. 10 on the groom’s farm near Edgar.
