This is our regular spring vacation just one week.  School will begin again Monday, April 13.  Let us all make a special effort to be present every day.

A new primary class will begin Monday.  Don’t fail to have the little people get started the first day.

Friday, April third we had our school spelling contest to select our local representative.  The result was as follows:  For spelling, Lydia Neimas, first, Gertrude Davis, Second, Theodore Tykac, third.  In Arithmetic the following results were obtained, Theodore Tykac, first, Lydia Neimas, second, and Bulah Lee third.  Friday April 17h we will have our district contest in which we will have representatives from schools taught by the following teachers: Elsie Snyder, Adelina Nickel, Ethel Alton, Nettie Berg, and Bessie McCormick.  The three winners in this contest will represent this district at Neillsville, sometime later.  All the work in spelling and arithmetic is given out directly from the superintendent’s office.  All the work will be opened before the pupils so absolute fairness must be observed.
