Krueger, Joyce M. (Radeztsky) (April 11, 1937 - April 4, 2009)

Joyce M. Krueger, 71, of Marshfield, formerly of Colby, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the House of the Dove, with family at her side and under the tender care of Ministry Home Hospice.

Mrs. Krueger was born April 11, 1937, in Colby, the daughter of Emil and Germaine (Kunz) Radeztsky. Joyce was a graduate of Colby High School.

On June 22, 1957, at the First United Church of Christ in Colby, the former Joyce Radeztsky was united in holy marriage to Frederick W. Krueger. He preceded Joyce in death July 26, 2003.

Mrs. Krueger was employed as a nursing assistant at the Clark County Health Care Center and later as an office clerk at Harmony Co-op in Colby, Wis.

Joyce cherished the time she could spend with her family. In addition to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed flower gardening and scrapbooking.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Jana (Michael) Wagner, Sheboygan, Jacci Andersen, Riverside, Ill., and Jim (Sarah) Krueger, Marshfield; 10 grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy, William, Carly, Brianna, Jake, Brad, Danielle, Stephanie and Ryan, stepchildren, Nicole and Brett; a sister, Arlette Hennessey, Falls Church, Va. Brothers, Delmer (Clare) Radeztsky, Bloomington, Minn., Ron (Anne) Radeztsky and Emil (Sandi) Radeztsky, Kewaskum.

Beside her parents, one daughter, Jody Waldhart, preceded Joyce in death.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
