Miss Helen Marie Gustafson became the bride of Donald Benedict Knaack Saturday, Dec. 9th, 1950, in a 4 p.m. ceremony at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, Dubuque, Iowa. The Rev. G. Demster Yinger officiated.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Corbin, Madison, attended the couple. Mrs. Corbin is a former roommate of the bride at Lawrence College. A dinner was served to the wedding party at the Hilltop Club in Dubuque. Mr. Knaack and his bride are motoring to Mexico City and Acapulco for the honeymoon. After Jan. 15 they will live on W. Nash St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The bride daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gustafson, Washburn, Wis., wore a cocktail length gown of Alice blue satin. The pencil slim skirt was draped in the back. Seed pearls outline the square neckline. Over the sleeveless bodice she wore a bolero designed with rolled lapels and long pointed sleeves. A matching hat with a white plume at one side completed her attire. She carried white orchids.

Mrs. Corbin was dressed in a toast satin gown and hat. The long jacket was detailed with a fishtail back, long cuffed sleeves, a Peter Pan collar and self covered buttons down the front. Her accessories were brown, her flowers, green orchids.

The bride, affiliated with Pi Beta Phi at Lawrence. Mr. Knaack attended River Falls State Teachers College. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Knaack, Owen (Clark Co.), Wis.
