Funeral services for Arnold Baehr, 45, of Lake Mills, whose death occurred Wednesday, will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester, at 2:00 o’clock. The body was brought to the Lulloff Funeral home at Colby and will be there until the time of the funeral services, Saturday.

Arnold Baehr, well known in this community, and Mrs. Baehr, the former Louella Luhrsen, had been making their home in Lake Mills. Mr. Baehr, who was field representative a canning company, met his death Wednesday morning when his car overturned and exploded. What caused the accident was not definitely known but it is thought there had been a blowout. Several five gallon cans of gasoline, which Mr. Baehr was delivering to a vinery, were in the car.

Mr. Baehr, who was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Baehr, of Dorchester, had lived in this vicinity all his life. He was fieldman for Libby McNeil & Libby for this territory until three years ago in June when he transferred to Hartford and about a year ago to Lake Mills. He was a member of the Charles F. Hanson Post of the American Legion of Dorchester, Wis. Legionnaires will attend the funeral in a body.
