Hintz, Della Lily (Marriage - 12 Sept. 1942)

Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Della Lily Hintz, of Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hintz, to Leo. Leahy of Darlington. The marriage was performed in a country church near Darlington Saturday morning, Sept. 12.

For the occasion the bride wore a street dress of dark blue with lighter blue jacket and matching accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of yellow roses and baby breath.

Attending the couple were the groom’s brother-in-law and sister.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the farm home of the groom to 35 guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Leahy left on a wedding trip to Devil’s lake, the Dells, and arrived here Sunday to visit her parents. They left Wednesday morning for a few days at northern Wisconsin lake resorts near Two Rivers.

They will be at home to friends at Darlington where the groom is engaged in farming.

After graduating from the Abbotsford high school with the class of 1926, the bride went to Milwaukee where she was employed at clerical work in the office of the sheriff of Milwaukee county. The past year she changed and worked for the parks department in the court house there until her marriage.
