Adams, Annabelle (Marriage - 14 June 1942)

Miss Annabelle Adams was married Sunday, June 14, at the home of her parents, to Roy H. Steele of Boscobel. The ceremony was performed at 1:15 by the Rev. James Saunders, of Coloma.

The bride, a graduate of the Hancock high school, class of 1939, is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otis C. Adams, of Hancock. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Steele, of Boscobel.

Mr. and Mrs. Otis Adams and family formerly lived in Abbotsford and published the Tribune.

Mrs. Walter Mills of Clinton, Ia., sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Norman Adams, brother of the bride, was best man.

Immediately after the wedding ceremony the party went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orson Adams, where the wedding dinner was served by Mrs. Orson Adams and Mrs. Norman Adams. A large wedding cake made by Mrs. C. H. Barber, aunt of the bride, was the table centerpiece.

Mr. and Mrs. Steele left Monday for two or three weeks in the northern part of the state, after which they will reside in Eau Claire where Mr. Steele will have charge of the state department welfare division of adult blind in that district.
