Stuttgen, Nick A. (28 APR 1985 - 9 NOV 2013)

Nick A. Stuttgen, age 28, of Colby, passed from this world while duck hunting with family on November 9, 2013, near Phillips.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby. Father David Rybicki will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2013, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby, from 3-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 2:45 p.m. and again visitation will be held on Thursday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Nick was born on April 28, 1985, in Marshfield, the son of Tony and Debbie (Rhyner) Stuttgen. He graduated from Colby High School in 2004. On September 6, 2013, Nick was united in marriage to Nichole Beyer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby.

He attended North Central Technical College in Wausau, he apprenticed in the electrician program. Nick was a journeyman electrician for Van Ert Electric out of Wausau. He was a proud member of IBEW Local 388.

First and foremost, Nick loved his family and friends and ensuring a strong faith. He loved hunting, riding motorcycles, tractor pulling, working on his Camero, and was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan.

Nick is lovingly survived by his wife, Nichole of Colby; his parents, Tony and Debbie of Colby; three siblings, Chris (Wendy) Stuttgen of Altoona, Craig (Heidi) Stuttgen of Unity, and Kelly Wells of Abbotsford; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Dan Beyer of Medford; four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Morgan, Sadie, Trevor, Meadow and Ashlynn. He is further survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers and plants, a Nick A. Stuttgen Memorial Fund has been established.
