Neimat, Martin Joe (15 July 1872 - 12 July 1951)

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Georgas funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. from the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard for Martin Joe Neimat, who died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield on Thursday. Mr. Neimat entered the hospital on Sunday after he was injured when he fell from a stack of hay. Burial was made in the parish cemetery with the Rev. Augustine Svete officiating.

Mr. Neimat was born on July 15, 1872 in Hungary. On February 4, 1897 he was married there to Mary Balog. They came to the United States in 1910 and lived in Milwaukee where he was employed in the coal docks before coming to Clark County in October, 1914. They stayed at Tioga one year and then moved to the Town of Seif.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Loslo Neimat, at home and one son, Martin, Jr., address unknown. Five sisters preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Frank Laken, Joe Tolaney, John Pernic, Frank Pekol, Frank Morgal, and Ludwig Perushek.
