Dr. Irwin Krohn, 53, prominent Jackson County physician died early Saturday evening in the basement of the Krohn clinic at Black River Falls. Dr. Krohn, who was found lying on the basement floor at 6:15 p.m., was apparently stricken by a heart attack.

Dr. Krohn is survived by his wife; one son, John, a pre-medical student at St. Olaf College at Northfield, Minn.; one daughter, Virginia, at home; his mother, Mrs. Eugene Krohn of Black River Falls and a brother, Dr. Robert.
