Koerner, Carol Marie (Marriage - 7 Oct. 1961)

Miss Carol Marie Koerner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar C. Koerner of Abbotsford, and Dennis Roger Feind, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Feind of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage Saturday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Wis., Rev. John Pinion officiating at the marriage ceremony.

The bride was attired in a street-length dress of white silk brocade with a square neckline, full length sleeves and a belled skirt. She wore a white velvet and feathered hat. Her corsage consisted of lavender orchid.

The matron of honor, Mrs. Joyce Runke of West Allis, sister of the groom, and the bridesmaid, Mrs. Donald Koerner of Dorchester, sister-in-law of the bride, wore identical dresses of beige nylon chiffon over taffeta with lace bodice and three-quarter length sleeves with beige accessories. Their wrist corsages consisted of gold carnations.

The groom was attended by David Feind of Milwaukee, brother of the groom, as best man, and Donald Koerner, of Dorchester, brother of the bride, as groomsman.

A dinner for members of the immediate family was served at the home of the bride’s parents, a supper at the Abbotsford High School and a reception and dance at the Sportsmen’s Park.

The bride attended Taylor County College at Medford and the groom graduated from Colby High School in 1958.

After a wedding trip to the northern part of the state, the couple will be at home in Abbotsford, Wis.

Guests were from West Bend, Milwaukee, Owen, Loyal, Abbotsford, Colby, Dorchester, Milladore, Curtiss and Pittsville.
