Mueller, Eleanore (19 MAY 1951)

Miss Eleanore Mueller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Friedrich Mueller, Germany, and Lawrence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beckman of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), were married at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 1951, in the Lincoln Park Evangelical Lutheran Church at Milwaukee, Wis., By Rev. U. Gaml.

Given in marriage by her uncle Alfred Mueller, Milwaukee, the bride was attired in a gown of white marquisette with a lace insert in the full skirt. Her fingertip veil was of imported illusion edged with lace and she carried a round bouquet of white carnations and roses with an orchid in the center.

Miss Marianne Bennevity, friend of the bride, served as bridesmaid, her gown was of Nile green marquisette. She carried a bouquet similar to the bride’s and a headpiece to match.

Miss Mary Wehrmann, Sheboygan, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. She wore a sheer blue gown with a ruffle insert in the back and carried a bouquet and wore a headpiece identical to the bridesmaid.

Attending the groom were Henry Mueller, cousin of the bride, as best man, and Gene Johnson, friend of the groom was usher.

During the double ring ceremony, Max Niggemeier sang two solos, "The Lord’s Prayer," and "The Lord is My Shepherd."

At 6 p.m. dinner was served at Milwaukee Gardens to the immediate family and open house was held at the home of the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mueller at 8 p.m. with approximately 150 guests attending.

After a two week wedding trip to the east coast, the couple will reisde at 4618 A. N. 18th St.

The groom is employed at the Nash-Kelvinator Co. as an accounting clerk and the bride at Universal Textile Weavers, as a receptionist and weaver.

Out of city guests were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Beckman of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Wehrmann and family and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bauers of Sheboygan and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Rieci and son of Dayton, Ohio.

The ladies of the last three couples, are sisters of the groom.
