Sharp, Mrs. Walter (1868? –2 March 1951)

Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Sharp, 83, a former resident of Neillsville were held Tuesday, March 6, at Evansville, Wis. She died on Friday, March 2, at the home of her son, Manley, in Superior. Death was due to old age complications.

Mrs. Sharp lived in Neillsville several years, coming here in 1926 with Manley, who taught agriculture in the local high school. They have been frequent visitors here with her daughter, Esther, Mrs. Bernard Dodte, since moving back to their home in Evansville.

Surviving are nine children, 30 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Surviving children are: Mrs. L. R. Hungerford of Flint, Mich., R. W. Sharp of Barron, F. M. Sharp of Freeport, Ill., Dr. D. S. Sharp of Mondovi, Mrs. C. A. Steele of Dinuba, Cal., Manley of Superior, Mrs. W. Johannsen of Dubuque, Ia., Lucile Sharp of Delano, Cal., and Mrs. Bernard (Esther) Dodte of Neillsville.
