Deegan, Helen (3 SEP 1950)

Miss Helen Deegan and Everett Johnson exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 on Sunday afternoon Sept. 3, 1950 at the United Lutheran Church at Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Deegan of Greenwood and the groom is the son of Mrs. Jens Peter Johnson. Rev. Theo. Nelson performed the ceremony.

The bride chose a suit of taffeta and wore a necklace of pearls. She wore a corsage of white carnations.

Mrs. August Deegan, aunt of the bride, was maid of honor. She chose a suit of pink and wore a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Chester Dirks, the bridesmaid, chose a suit of light blue and also wore a corsage of white carnations.

The best man was August Deegan and the other gentleman attendant was Chester Dirks of Neillsville.

The ushers were Elsie Johnson of Thorp, sister of the groom, and Robert Deegan, Greenwood, brother of the bride.

Several out of town guests attended the wedding.
