A very pretty wedding took place at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church here on the morning of Saturday, July 1st, 1950, when Rita, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kaminski of Stanley, became the bride of Erwin Ciolkosz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ciolkosz of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). Rev. Francis Piekarski performed and 9:30 ceremony and Rev. Jerome Kamla and Rev. E. Kaim assisted at the Mass.

The couple was attended by John Kaminski, brother of the bride, as best man, and Dolores Ciolkosz, sister of the groom, as first bridesmaid.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of white satin over lace with long pointed sleeves and a triple nylon tulle skirt ending in a triple train. Her ¾ length veil with scalloped end, was held in place by a queen’s crown of lace and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of white carnations centered with an orchid and a silver rosary, the groom’s gift.

Miss Dolores Ciolkosz wore an orchid nylon caile dress with fitted bodice and full skirt. Miss Theresa Kaminski, sister of the bride, aid of honor, wore a Nile green dress similar in style to that of the bridesmaid. Other attendants of the bride were Jo Kaminski, Virginia Ciolkosz, Elaine Nattoes and Frances Slowiak, all attired in orchid dresses.
