Schultz, Karen Louise (Marriage - 13 February 1971)

Miss Karen Louise Schultz became the bride of Barry Martin Dunlap, on Saturday, February 13, in a 4 p.m. double-ring ceremony performed at the Greenwood United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eugene Antrim. The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schultz of Rt. 1 Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. James Dunlap of Rt. 2 Neillsville.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white floor-length gown of silk organza and lace over satin. Her full length veil, edged with lace, was held by a flowered headpiece. She carried a crescent-shaped bouquet of yellow and pink roses.

Miss Debra Urban of Neillsville was the maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Raymond Dunlap of Aurora, Ill., and Miss Kay Schultz of Greenwood. They wore gowns of avocado green, orange, and bronze, respectively, and carried crescent-shaped bouquets of yellow and pink roses.

Raymond Dunlap of Aurora, Ill., served as bestman. Groomsmen were Thomas Carter of Greenwood and Dennis Pozega of Auburndale. Kenneth Schultz and Duane Arndt acted as ushers.

The church was decorated with two bouquets of yellow and white gladioli and ‘mums. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Gary Schultz; Dan Slone was the soloist.

A reception for 175 guests was held at the Wildcat Inn west of Neillsville.

The bride, a 1970 graduate of Neillsville High School, is employed in Neillsville. Her husband is employed in Christie. The newlyweds are living at R. 1 Greenwood.
