Mrs. Robert Spiegel, Mrs. Elmer Kapfer, Mrs. Albert Lincoln, Mrs. Ernest Kuhn, Mrs. George Gorbet, Mrs. Oliver Williams, Mrs. William Matuszak, Mrs. John Reinart, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short and Mrs. Art Odell went to the Bryan Home last Friday and entertained the residents in honor of Valentine’s Day, Lincoln’s and Washington’s birthdays. They played traveling bingo. Mrs. Robert Spiegel played the piano and several ladies sang. Mrs. Herman Dahnert and Mrs. Ellen Englund, neighbors of the Bryans, also were present. The ladies took Valentine cookies, and they and Mrs. Bryan served the group ice cream, cookies and coffee. The club ladies also presented each resident with a handkerchief for their Valentine.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer and Mrs. Floyd Wall were guests Sunday of Mrs. Irving Stevens.

Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Boyer and son and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kurth and family were guests Sunday of the ladies’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trachte.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lutz and Victor Lutz of Milwaukee spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andreas Lutz.

Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Mashin and sons of Tomah spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Mashin and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams. The Mashin family and Mr. and Mrs. William Poler were supper guests Saturday at the Oliver Williams home.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Squires of Merrillan were dinner guests Saturday of her sister, Mrs. Frank Short. Mr. and Mrs. Squires also visited their daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Matti of Humbird, a surgical patient at Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Barney Plummer called Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Art Odell.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Steinle of Winneconne and Keith Short of Appleton spent the weekend at the Kenneth Short home. Mrs. Frank Short was a Sunday dinner guest there also.

Ed Kuhn and Jerry Lincoln called at the Mrs. Art Odell home Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams, Mr. and Mrs. George Sherwood and Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler were Sunday afternoon visitors and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Poler.

Warren and Francis Lincoln called at the Albert Lincoln and Mrs. Art Odell homes Sunday afternoon.

Bible study will be held at the Rev. Ralph Schram home near Alma Center Friday night. It was held last Friday night at the Lyle Cary home in Sherwood.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Juntunen were Sunday afternoon visitors at the Robert Mortenson home.

Jerry Lincoln, who attends school in Milwaukee, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lincoln.
