Hoffman, Daila (Marriage - 20 May 1940)

Miss Daila Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Hoffman, Jr., of Dorchester became the bride of Lewis Goldamer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goldamer in a simple ceremony performed in the Little Brown Church of the Vale at Nashua, Iowa. The Rev. F. L. Hanscon read the service at eleven o’clock on Monday morning, May 20th.

For her marriage the bride wore a gray suit with blue and rose accessories. Her corsage was made of roses and gladioli.

Miss Jeanette Green attended the bride in a navy blue suit with pink accessories and wore carnations.

Albert Goldamer was his brother’s attendant.

The young people returned here Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Goldamer will make their home in Abbotsford where he is employed as truck driver for the Northwest Distributing Company.

The bride is a graduate of the Dorchester High School, class of ’39 and up to the time of her marriage had taken nurses’ training.
