Guests Saturday afternoon and evening at the Harland Pigott home were his sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson and family of Milton. The Johnsons stayed overnight at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Johnson.

Chili Homemakers met Monday at the home of Alma and Elda Happe, Elda Happe, who is the new chili-Granton center chairman, presented an informative program on spices.

Mrs. Milton Rand, Marilyn Rand and Mrs. Rodney Dix were hostesses at a baby shower Saturday afternoon honoring Mrs. Mark Rand. Among those who gathered at the Milton Rand home were Mrs. Duane Lovik, Mrs. Eldred Tesmer, Mrs. Bill Schmitz, Mrs. Le Roy Schmitz, Mrs. Bill Dankemyer, Mrs. Larry Pokallus, Mrs. Doug Heimstead, Mrs. Ed Ploman, Mrs. Lyle Doehr, Mrs. Dan Metko, Mrs. Daryl Booth, Mrs. Eugene Donnerbauer, and Mrs. Howard Rand and Tanya.

Forestside Homemakers were to meet Wednesday, January 27, for a noon dinner meeting at the home of Mrs. Edward Barth. Project leaders on the topic of drug use and abuse were Mrs. Max Mahoney and Mrs. Alvin Grey.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Doehr were dinner guests of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Doehr, in Junction City last Thursday.
