Briski, Theodore (3 Nov. 1927 - 17 Jan. 2009)

Theodore "Ted" Briski, 81, of Greenwood, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood. Burial will follow in the Greenwood City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday.

GREENWOOD -- Theodore "Ted" Briski, 81, of Greenwood, Wisconsin died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood. The Rev. Robert Olson will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Cuddie Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday.

He was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Greenwood to Matthew and Katherina (Zagar) Briski. He was married to Vivian Langfeldt on Aug. 29, 1953, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in the town of South Green Grove. He served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean War. He worked at Midland Cooperative for 40 years in the service station and feed mill.

He is survived by his wife, sons Larry (Sue) Briski of Chippewa Falls, Dan (Nancy) Briski of Green Bay; and Steve (Sandy) Briski of Fitchburg; daughters Doreen (Jeff) Fredricksen of Greendale; Ruth (Ray) MacDonald of West Bend; and Andrea (Tom) Scherer of Muskego; brothers Robert (Taimi) Briski of Greenwood; John (Florence) Briski of Greenwood; sister-in-law Della Briski of Altoona; and 15 grandchildren.
