Charles G. Fischer was accompanied by a friend as far as Westfield, Wis., then flew home to spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Fischer. He returned to his work on Tuesday morning at Kenosha.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Alger and family visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wnukowski at Cadott, recently.

Mr. and Mrs. I. G. Olson of St. Paul spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Brandsness.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Healey of Stanley, called at the Isaac Sisco home on Sunday.

The following friends and relatives visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sniegowski and Mr. and Mrs. Alois Ciolkosz on Sunday evening and helped Mrs. Sniegowski celebrate her birthday: Mr. and Mrs. John Hmielak and son, Mr. and Mrs. Florian Sniegowski, Jean and Chester Sniegowski and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Tomkowiak.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Baldeschwiler spent the weekend visiting relatives at Ashton and Sheldon, Iowa, and attended the First Solemn High Mass of Rev. Alphonse Berning at Ashton, who s a cousin of Mrs. Baldeschwiler.

Mrs. Robert Elkins has returned home, after spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Shanbarker of Eagle River, Wis.
