Przybylski, Adeline T. (14 MAY 1949)

To the soft strains of organ music, on the arm of her father, the bride, Miss Adeline Theresa Przybylski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Przybylski of Gilman, approached the altar, where she was given in marriage to Vincent Lato, son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Lato of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). The Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Gilman was the place where the beautiful ceremony was performed on Saturday, May 14th, 1949. During the services the choir sang the "Ave Maria" and "On This Day O Beautiful Mother."

The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white brocaded satin trimmed with seed pearl.

Her long veil and blusher white lace edging was caught up in a tiara of seed pearl. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and gardenias.

The following were the attending couples: Miss Marie Andruszkiewicz, cousin of the bride, attired in a pink gown, was first bridesmaid, with Joseph Lato, brother of the groom, as her escort. The second couple were Miss Frances Grabowski, niece of the groom, attired in an aqua gown, with Leonard Przybylski, brother of the bride, as her escort. The third couple were Miss Emily Lato, cousin of the groom, attired in a yellow gown, with Eugene Przybylski, cousin of the bride, as her escort.

Foer he maid of honor, the bride chose her cousin, Miss Barbara Ann Przybylski, attired in a lime colored gown. The attending ladies’ gowns were made identical with net yoke, lace bodice and peplum, with taffeta underskirt and double overskirt of net. They wore headbands to match their gowns and carried bouquets of mixed carnations.

The groom and his attendants wore tuxedoes with white carnation boutonnieres.

The bride’s mother wore a dark blue peplum dress with appliqué design on waist. The groom’s mother wore dark blue print in silk. The bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Andruszkiewicz, wore a black crepe print. They all wore corsages of roses and pink carnations.

The reception with dinner and supper to about eighty families was held at the P.N.A. Hall at Thorp.

The bride is a graduate of the Gilman High School and was employed in Chicago. The groom is engaged in farming and served several years in the U.S. Navy.

After a two weeks honeymoon, the whereabouts of which is unknown at present, the young couple will be at home to their friends at their farm in Gilman. We wish them many years of happy wedded bliss.
