Jarocki, Alexander V. (16 SEP 1866 - 29 JUL 1948)

Alexander Valentine Jarocki was born in Poland on Sept. 16, 1866. He was united in marriage there on May 21, 1892 to Helen Twarowski, who still survives him.

They came to America on Sept. 31, 1900 and located on a farm in the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), on Oct. 5, 1900. They recently retired from farming and moved to the city of Thorp.

Mr. Jarocki passed away at his home here on July 29th, 1948 of old age infirmities.

Besides his wife the deceased is survived by three sons, John of Detroit, Bruno of Withee and Edward of Thorp; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Jwinski and Hattie, Mrs. John Czernecki, of Detroit, Mich., Mae, Mrs. Joseph Ludwig of Kaukauna and Mary, Mrs. John Wegner of Thorp.

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church at Thorp on Tuesday, Aug. 2nd, Rev. Francis Piekarski officiating. Assisted by Rev. J. Kamla and Rev. E. Kaim. The remains were interred in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Kaminski, Victor Zielinski, Frank Arciszewski, John Balcer, Paul Konieczny and Stanley Gronek.
