Johnson, Louise R. (5 Oct. 1887 - 24 Apr. 1937)

Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph H. Johnson, 49, former Dorchester resident who died Saturday night at her home at Green Bay, were conducted Monday afternoon at the Green Bay home and Tuesday afternoon at Salem Evangelical church, Dorchester, Wis.

The Rev. Mr. Plopper, Green Bay, and the Rev. J. M. LeCount, Dorchester, officiated at the rites, and internment took place in Memorial cemetery.

Pallbearers were Norman Kalepp, Donald and La Verne Sauter, Robert and Arthur Weideman, Arthur Seidel, nephews of the deceased. The flower girls were Alice Kalepp, Arlene and Mae Weideman, Agnes Messer, Geraldine Sauter, Vernetta and Dorothy Marcotte, nieces of Mrs. Johnson.

Mrs. Johnson, nee Louise R. Sauter, was born Oct. 5, 1887, at Dorchester, and lived there until her marriage to Joseph Johnson on July 7, 1916, at Neillsville. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson lived in several Wisconsin cities before moving to Green Bay in 1921.

Surviving besides Mr. Johnson are one son, Lawrence; three sisters, Mrs. Victor Marcotte, Phillips; and Mrs. Adolph Kalepp, Mrs. Herbert Weideman, Abbotsford; and six brothers, Otto, Phillips; Edward, Albert and August, Dorchester; Charles, Tomahawk; and Joseph, Minneapolis.
