Lenz, Wilma (Marriage - 9 June 1936)

At a pretty home ceremony performed at two o’clock Thursday at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore H. Lenz at Colby, their daughter, Wilma, became the bride of Gerhard Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Anderson, Abbotsford, Wis.

The vows were exchanged before the Rev. L. C. Smith, pastor of the Presbyterian church.

The bride wore a floor length white satin gown. The fitted bodice was trimmed with tiny satin buttons at the back and the sleeves ended in long points over the hands. Her long veil, edged with lace was worn with a headdress of lace trimmed with orange blossoms and seed pearls. Roses, sweet peas and swansonias composed her bouquet.

Miss Adelia Anderson, sister of the bridegroom, who attended as maid of honor, was attired in Nile green chiffon. Her bouquet was of roses, carnations and babies breath. Milton Lenz, brother of the bride, attended as best man.

The newlyweds will spend their honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, returning to Abbotsford to reside.
