Lesar, Frank Jess (10 December 1896 - 30 November 1970)

Frank Jess Lesar, 73, of Willard, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday at 6:20 p.m. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. from Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. The Rev. Michael Mertens will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. A rosary was to be held at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood Wednesday evening.

Mr. Lesar was born December 10, 1896, at Ely, Minn. He moved to Willard with his parents in 1910 and had lived here since. His wife was the former Verna Kosmoski, who died January 12, 1949. Mr. Lesar taught at the McKinley School and was a rural mail carrier until he retired in 1967.

He is survived by four sisters, Mary, Frances, Anna, and Agnes Lesar, all of Willard; and three brothers, John of Willard, Joseph of West Bend, and Louis of Ely, Minn.
