Andersen, Karen Sue (Marriage - 14 November 1970)

Miss Karen Sue Andersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dimeo, Jr., Neillsville was united in marriage with S/Sgt Garry L. Arndt, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Arndt, Neillsville on November 14, at 1 p.m. in the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Melvin Nickel performed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Dimeo were the couple’s only attendants.

A family dinner at the bride’s home followed the wedding. The Arndts left that day for South Carolina where they will make their home.

The new Mrs. Arndt graduated in 1966 from Washington Park High School in Racine, and in 1968 from the Kenosha Technical Institute School of Practical Nursing. During the past two years she has been employed at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire and at Memorial Home in Neillsville.

S/Sgt Arndt graduated from Neillsville High School in 1964. For the past six years he has been in the Air Force, having recently completed a second tour of duty in Vietnam. He is presently stationed at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina.

Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Arndt was entertained at a bridal shower given by her sisters, Jean and Judy Andersen.
