Gust Fredrickson had the bad luck to have his best horse cut up in the wire fence Monday. Dr. Currie was called out and sewed up the cuts and did what he could. We haven't heard how it is getting along at this writing.

Mrs. Bigelow called at the N.E. Palms home Monday.

Maurice Meredith, Tom Podrovitz, Jim and Ralph Bigelow worked on the road in Foster several days last week.

Pete Larson has rented the Frank Mesarosch place to put in crops this year.

We surely need a good rain, the ground is too dry to plow or plant.

C. J. Bigelow and Ralph drove to Fairchild Saturday and brought a cow and calf out for Gene Palms.

F.E. Dean and family, Mary Bell and Ralph Bigelow visited with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dunn on R. 5, Greenwood, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Waite Wilcox of Chili spent Sunday with his uncle Jim Bigelow and family.

Josh Quick is again living in his home over by Scott Creek.

A hard freeze every night for over a week makes it bad for gardens that are coming up and the fruit trees that are in bloom. It is feared that the apple crop will be scarce this year.

Some of the Young folks attended the dance at Christie Saturday night.
