The Lutheran confirmation class of nine who were confirmed Sunday night were: Elaine Lee, Margaret Graham, Janice Moen, Justice Lewin, Leonard Gorsegner, Lee Reinke, Walter Reinke, Allen Natzke, and Darrell Natzke.

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Alger and son Larry of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Alger, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schmidt and Nancy J., Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Alger and Danny, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Alger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson of Thorp, and Mrs. Nino Ceechini and Irene of Middletown, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Schmidt and Miss Mary Gruber of St. Paul, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt of Conrath, Wis., and helped their daughter Charlene celebrate her first birthday.

Rev. and Mrs. James Irish spent Sunday at the home of the latter’s sister, Mrs. Anton Lauer and family at Chippewa Falls.

Rev. and Mrs. James Irish returned from an extended trip to St. Paul, Duluth and the north shore of lake Superior.

Dr. and Mrs. E. McEachern and baby and Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Elliott and daughters, of Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. David R. McEachern of Oshkosh, spent Sunday at the William E. McEachern home here.

Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cook spent Sunday at the Paul Pairier home at Greenwood, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Cook and son Douglas of Thorp and Mrs. Francis Churchill and Dickie of Cornell, spent Sunday evening at the Edmund Cook home.
