Lloyd Kenyon was a Marshfield visitor Sunday.

Miss Esther Anding of Arena spent last week at the James Slauson home.

Mrs. Fred May and family spent Sunday with relatives and friends at Christie.

Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker and Mrs. Art Zehren were Medford visitors last Thursday.

Dr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes and daughters spent Sunday at the A.A. Volk home at Allen.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Corey and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Metcalf left Tuesday for a trip through Canada.

Miss Beverly Haeuser, who spent the past month with relatives at Medford, returned home Sunday.

W.G. Hartson and Wm. F. Neuenfeldt spent from Friday until Tuesday in the northern part of the state fishing..

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sullivan of Chicago, Mrs. Fred Behrens and son Tommy, and Mrs. J.S. Andrews spent Tuesday at Duluth.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank DeBarr and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar DeBarr and daughter Betty of Merrill spent Saturday and Sunday at the Russell Mead home.

Miss Esther Anding of Arena, Mrs. Wm. Orht and daughter Marie, and Mrs. James Slauson were supper guests on Wednesday at the Clarence Verhulst home.

Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Buker and "Rug" Buker were at Marshfield Sunday and attended a ballgame between Medford and Marshfield. Luke Buker was the pitcher for the Medford team.

Clyde Behrens spent a few days last week at Wausau.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Armstrong and son Jack spent the weekend at Pike Lake.

Mrs. Jos. Brauneis and children and Rosella Severson were Eau Claire visitors Sunday.

Henry Dill, Dale Stabnow, and Albert Neuenfeldt are spending the week in Milwaukee.

Miss Mildred Lindsley of Stanley spent the weekend here as guest of Miss Janice Opdycke.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Speich and daughter Carol spent Sunday at the J. Luchterhand home at Unity.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Metzke and family have moved to Marshfield. The Armour plant here has been closed.

Rev. and Mrs. George Heilman and daughters, and Miss Marie Boecher visited relatives at Eau Claire Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schwarze and daughter Kay, Miss Mary Voigt and George Kocher spent the weekend in Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Baird and family and Mr. and Mrs. H. Bergemann and daughter spent Sunday at the Jack Fahey home at Stanley.

The M.E. Ladies Aid will meet at the church basement Friday afternoon with Mrs. George Haeuser, Mrs. James Slauson and Miss Rue Cummings as hostesses.

Mrs. Palmer Vinger and daughters Vivian and Shirley returned Sunday from a visit at Canastota, S.D. They report that the grasshoppers were so bad the corn and other crops are entirely destroyed.

Joe Brauneis spent from Thursday until Sunday at Minneapolis.

Mr. and Mrs. P.E. Peterson and son Everett are spending the week at Pik Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sullivan of Chicago are visiting at the Fred Behrens home.

Miss Arlene Olson, R.N., of Tucson, Ariz. Is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Olson.

Mrs. W.G. Hartson of Neillsville spent from Friday evening until Monday here with rleatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Miller, Mrs. Ida Lulloff, Mrs. Lena Ebert of Colby spent Sunday at the Fred Braun home.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meyer and Fred Brandt of Chicago spent the weekend here with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Anding, Mrs. C.E. Slauson and daughter Susan of Arena were weekend guests at the James Slauson home.

The Busy Bee's will meet at the home of Bernelda Humke on Saturday, Aug. 27. Members should bring froned quilt patches and shears.

Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Soule and son Howard and Mr. and Mrs. Mott and daughters Florence and Marian of Oshkosh were guests at the M.E. Kenyon home Saturday.

Miss Frances Schiller, Harold and Paulie Borham and Clarence Needham were at Stevens point Wednesday. Paulie Borham has accepted a position at a hotel there and began work that day.
