Kemp, Elva French (25 Dec. 1860 - 25 June 1950)

Word has been received in Neillsville of the death of Mrs. Elva French Kemp, second child of Dr. Benjamin French and Elizabeth French, early founders of Neillsville. She died June 25, 1950 at high noon after an illness of three weeks. Her home was at 5417 Lemon Grove Ave., Hollywood, Cal.

Surviving are nine living children. Two preceded her in death. The surviving children are: Oscar P. Kemp, Jr., John Monroe Kemp, Clare French Kemp, Carolyn Kemp McPhail, Willard W. Kemp, Paul Robert Kemp, Mrs. Laurin Wood, and Mrs. Frank Eggleston.
