Curtiss, Wis. - Oct. 17, 1957

The Ladies’ Aid of Evangelical Lutheran church will meet on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the parish hall. Mrs. Walter Krueger and Mrs. Clarence Geary will serve lunch.

Mmes. A. M. Erickson, Frank Matthias, E. M. Peterson, Art Laabs, William Anderson, Walter Krueger, Albert Bakke, Henry Noeker and Ida Schiszik attended a convention of the Missionary Federation at Stanley last week.

A son was born October 13 to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bowen at Madison.

Lt. James Laabs returned to Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., after spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Laabs.

Miss Bertha Kraut is visiting her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kraut, at St. Paul.
