Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13th, for Mrs. Ressa Evenson Anderson.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Yervic, Norway, Feb. 25, 1861, and came to this country and was married at Rockland, Wis. in the year of 1881 to Ben Anderson. She passed away at her home north of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) at 10:30 p.m. Monday, May 10th, 1948, at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 15 days, after a long illness.

Those left to mourn are five sons: Alfred and Elmer at home, Milton of Chippewa Falls and Ed and Ole of Withee; and five daughters: Mrs. Hilda Pedersen, Mrs. Bertha Auberg and Mrs. Hans (Julia) Hansen of Withee, Mrs. Harry (Ruth) Andress of Chippewa Falls and Mrs. Joseph (Alice) Englehart of West Allis, Wis.; also 39 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Her husband and one son preceded her in death.

She will be laid to rest at the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers at the service will be Ray and Tony Auberg, Howard and Harvey Anderson, Archie Andress and Gordon Auberg.

Flower girls will be Misses Verna Hansen, Elaine and Marcella Anderson, Lois Mengel, Beverly Andress, Mrs. Beatrice Engel and Miss Lucy Anderson.
