Zion Lutheran Church in Colby was the recent scene of the wedding of Miss Gladys L. Schmidt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmidt of Colby, Wis. and Carl O. Gottschalk, son of Mrs. Adel Gottschalk of Colby, Wis.

Attendants for the couple were Miss Lucille Gottschalk, sister of the groom, as maid of honor, Mrs. Lester Schmidt of Woodland, sister-in-law of the bride, as bridesmaid. Fred Schmidt, Jr., of Colby and Lester Schmidt of Woodland were bestman and groomsman, respectively.

The bride is a graduate of Colby High School and also attended Greenwood schools. The groom is an employee of the Cloverdale Cheese Factory in the Town of Colby, Wis. They will reside on the farm of the bride’s parents near there.
