Rosenquist, Fannie #2 (14 JUL 1906 - 9 FEB 1948)

Funeral services were conducted at one o’clock this afternoon for Miss Fannie Rosenquist, 41, who passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield Monday, Feb. 9th, 1948.

Services were held at the Finnish Lutheran Church with the Rev. V. A. Puotinen officiating. Her remains were laid to rest in the Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers at the service were John Rauha, Jr., Arvid Heikkinen, Pentha Puro, Bill Maki, Arnie Laakso and Charles Telin. Flower girls were Vienna Mutka, Jennie Bakka, Frances Pessig, Ida Bowmen and Audrey Wilksman.

Fannie Rosenquist was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rosenquist, who reside on route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). She was born on July 14, 1906, at Marquette, Mich., but had spent the greatest part of her life in this community.

The past many years have been ones of continually suffering for Fannie Rosenquist, as she was confined on numerous occasions in hospitals, where she was treated for diabetes. Despite her illness she maintained a friendly and kin personality and enjoyed the companionship of her family and many friends that visited the Rosenquist home.

Surviving her are her parents, two brothers, Harvey and Harry, both of Owen, and a sister Hilma.
