Krueger, Max (27 Feb. 1893 - 28 Feb. 1957)

Max Krueger died at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital last Thursday at 12:10, noon, of a heart attack, at the age of 63 years. Funeral services were held at the First Evangelical and Reformed church Sunday afternoon, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Louis Borchert, Walter Loos, Fred Stecker, Walter Rindfleisch, John F. Lindsay and Clarence Farning.

Mr. Krueger was born in Phillips February 27, 1893, and came to this area in 1917 and engaged in farming. He married Dena Spann of Colby at Sheboygan Falls on June 18, 1921. He was admitted to the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital the same day he died.

Surviving are his wife and a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albin Anderson, who help operate the Krueger farm in the town of Colby; two brothers, Charles Krueger of Winneconne and Albert Krueger of Phillips; one sister, Mrs. Wm. (Martha) McMullen of Phillips.

Out of town relatives here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Krueger, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McMullen, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McMullen Jr., Mr. and Mrs. David McMullen and Melvin Krueger, all of Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krueger, Raymond Krueger, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thull and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Sawallish of Winneconne, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Krueger of Glidden, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kunze of Prior Lake, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Neitzel of Marshfield, Mrs. Fannie Krueger and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Poniewaz and family of Milwaukee, Floyd DuVall and Viola Spann of Marshfield, Mrs. Helen Anderson of Chicago, Ill.
