Wiegman, Lillie (26 Aug. 1894 - 18 Jan. 1957)

Mrs. Lillie Wiegman suffered a heart attack last Thursday night and was rushed to the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she passed away Friday morning, January 18, at 7:20 A.M. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Ev. and Reformed church, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating, and internment was made in the Green Grove cemetery. Mrs. Don Schreiber and Mrs. Ronald Radetzsky sang "The Heart of God" and "Saved By Grace" accompanied by Miss Rena Bauer as organist. Pall bearers were Arnold Edbom of Unity, Walter Stecker of Marshfield, Arthur Braun of Sheboygan, Irvin Klug of Lowell, Bill Stark of Lowell and Fritz Schoenwetter of Merrill.

Mrs. Wiegman, daughter of the late Charles and Emilia Schoenwetter, was born in Lowell on August 26, 1894, thus reaching the age of 62 years, four months and 22 days. She came to this community with her parents when four years of age. She married Richard Wiegman in the town of Green Grove on June 12, 1912. They engaged in farming in that town until about 15 years ago when they moved to Colby where Richard Wiegman engaged in carpenter work.

Mrs. Wiegman was a faithful member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church and the Ladies’ Guild of that congregation. She was well known for her friendly disposition and her willingness to lend a helping hand wherever needed. She will be missed by a host of friends.

Surviving are two sons, Clarence of Waukegan, Ill., and Alvin of Cicero, Ill., a grand daughter, Judy Ann, of Waukegan, Ill., and two brothers, Otto Schoenwetter of Lowell and Carl Schoenwetter of the state of Idaho. Her husband preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1956, and a son, Harold, passed away 43 years ago.

Out of town people here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schoenwetter, Mr. and Mrs. William Stark, Mrs. Glen Wiedelman and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hollaty of Lowell, Fritz Schoenwetter of Merrill, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Klug of Pewaukee, Mrs. Arnold Meyer and son, Tom and Arthur Braun of Sheboygan, Mrs. Bertha Schoenwetter of Tomahawk, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Edblom of Unity, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Wiegman of *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
